Middleton Sertoma presents the Service to mankind award for 2016 to Joe Herr. Joe he founded Logan’s
Heart and Smiles. Logan’s
Heart & Smiles provides free labor and materials (based on income) to help
ease the burden families with disabled children face. Joe (on right) was introduced by Curt Norton (on left). As of today, the organization he founded, has helped 97
families by building 63 ramps, 10 fences and many other projects. Using his skills as a carpenter along with a few family and friends, Joe has helped many families by building ramps, fences and making home modifications. Joe also serves as President on the Board of the Family Support and Resource Center of Dane County.
